STC militias deport people of northern provinces from Aden

ADEN, Sept. 3 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on Thursday launched a campaign to deport Yemeni citizens from the northern provinces.

The STC militias raided Sheikh Othman district where construction workers and other self-employed persons from the northern provinces gather and took many of them to different locations before gathering them for deportation, according to local sources.

The sources added that more than two hundred were detained, and many of them had been robbed of their tools.

The surprise campaign disrupted the interests of dozens of restaurants and shops in Sheikh Othman district.
