STC militias launch new campaign of arrest against northern citizens in Aden

ADEN, Sept.3 (YPA) -On Thursday, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council(STC) militias launched a new campaign targeting people of the northern provinces,, local sources said .

According to local sources, dozens of UAE-backed troops and armored vehicles carried out raids during the evening and raided houses, apartments and hotels that affected hundreds of people from  the northern provinces.

The campaign was carried out on the instructions of the Coalition Operations Room in Aden.

The reasons for the campaign were not yet known.

The campaign of  forced displacement against southern citizens coincides with arrangements for the announcement of a joint government headed by Moeen Abdul Malik.

The sources pointed out that the  STC in beginning to escalate, especially as it prepares for a large-scale attack on Hadi’s forces in Abyan.
