Iranian Foreign Minister: The US doesn’t understand the language of law

SANAA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that the US continues to claim that its ability  to activate the mechanism for restoring sanctions on Iran, despite its withdrawal from the nuclear deal.

He said:  The US doesn’t understand the law or knows nothing about the United Nations.

In a tweet, Zarif criticized continued the US threats to countries opposed to its claim that the automatic return mechanism for sanctions against Iran could be activated despite its withdrawal from the nuclear deal in 2018.

After the Security Council has rejected the United States three times, this country is now threatening to impose sanctions on any person or entity that stands between the United States and Snapback,” Zarif wrote on Twitter.

The US officials may not understand that they launched the nuclear deal in 2018 and that having their name in this marriage contract makes no sense, he added.
