Sporadic rains, warm weather expected for next hours

SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected scattered rains accompanied by thunderstorms over different parts of Yemen’s provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy on mountainous highlands with the possibility of the formation of cumulative clouds and separate rains on parts of the mountainous provinces of Taiz and Lahj to Saada in the north.

It pointed out that the coastal areas where the weather might be also clear and warm to partly cloudy cumulative clouds, and light and sporadic rain on the interior areas with light and moderate winds on the southern and eastern coasts and Aden Gulf of and Bab al-Mandab.

The center warned fishermen and seafarers in Socotra archipelago of strong winds reaching up 33 knots and disturbing the sea .
