Violent clashes erupt among STC, Islah party’s militias in Abyan

ABYAN, May 18 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Monday night among southern transitional council (STC)’s militias and Islah party’s militiamen in Abyan province over the past hours, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The clashes renewed among the militants, causing impedance for the movement of passengers on Shaqra road in Zunjbar city.

The clashes took a place in al-Taria front beside Zunjbar cit.

On Sunday, Islah party’s militias arrested the commander of the southern resistance in Shabwa province, Anees al-Subaihi.
