Army enters first district of Marib peacefully

MARIB, March 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees entered the first district of Marib province peacefully, sources told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

The sources confirmed that this came after the army signed on Monday an agreement with Al-Marwan and Shadawida tribes in the district.

The agreement that began to be implemented on Tuesday morning provides for the normalization of public life and securing the district and its people.
