President stresses solving overlap problem between Capital, Sanaa province

SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday stressed the importance of solving the problem of overlap between the Capital Sanaa and Sanaa province to contribute to enhancing the developmental and service aspects and alleviating the citizens’ suffering.

This came during the president’s meeting with Minister of Local Administration Ali bin Ali al-Qaisi, the secretary of the capital Hamod Obad, and Sanaa Governor Haneen Qutaina.

The president emphasized the need to unify efforts of all during the current stage, especially in light of the continued escalation of the aggression and the siege that left catastrophic conditions at various levels.

The meeting discussed aspects related to the geographical overlap between the Capital and Sanaa province, including revenues overlap and development issues.
