Military source: Saudi-led coalition forces continue to violate ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Dec. 18 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and mercenaries attacked several areas in Yemen’s Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, in a new violation to the ceasefire agreement, during the past 24 hours, a military source confirmed on Wednesday .

According to the sources, the aggression forces used artillery shells to attack the homes of citizens in the village of Al-Shajan in the besieged District of Ad Durayhimi District while  the military bulldozers established new fortifications in the same directorate.

The source added that the aggression forces used heavy machine guns to attack Jablyah  area of Tuhayta District, leaving damages to several houses of civilians.

The source confirmed that a fire broke out in the farms of citizens in al-Ja’ah the aggression forces fired more than 13 mortar shells at them . He pointed out that the flight of espionage aggression flew in the sky of several districts of the province.

The acting governor of Hodeidah, Mohammed Ayyash Quhim, said on Tuesday that the crimes and violations committed by the aggression and its mercenaries in Hodeidah, comes in the light of international community shameful silent.

The UN and International community have done nothing to stop and hold the perpetrators accountable and the silence of humanitarian and human rights organizations, which encouraged the aggression forces to commit more crimes and breaches.
