Humanitarian Council distributes 63 boats to affected fishermen in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Acting Governor of Hodeidah province, Mohammed Ayyash Quhaim on Tuesday launched the distribution of  distributed  63 fishing boats with all their equipment for fishermen affected by the Saudi-led  aggression in Bajil  and Al Marawi’ah Districts  of Yemen’s Red Sea province of Hodeidah.

The move came within the framework of the project of an integrated response to food and livelihoods implemented by the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in partnership with ADRA Org.

He praised these projects that meet the needs of the people of the province and alleviate their suffering imposed by the aggression and the blockade, calling on the organizations working in the province to focus on projects that serve citizens most affected by the aggression.

Quhaim  further praised the initiative of ADRA and its various interventions in the province, which focuses on the humanitarian aspects, especially the health and environmental sectors, and in a way that meets the needs of citizens of different classes and groups.

For his part, the project manager, Muhannad Al-Aqil, said that the organization’s orientation during the next phase will focus on implementing long-term service projects that contribute to providing livelihoods for the poorest and the neediest families.
