Acting Minister of Tourism calls on UN to press coalition to lift blockade

HODEIDAH, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Acting Minister of Tourism Ahmed al-Ali on Monday called on the United Nations to pressure Saudi-led aggression coalition countries to open air, sea and land ports to alleviate the human suffering of Yemeni people.

During the visit to Hodeidah port, al-Ali was briefed on the difficulties facing the port and the damage caused by the aggression.

Al-Ali noted to the negative effects resulting from the continued siege on the humanitarian, health and economic situation, as a war crime.

“The reports and statements issued by the United Nations from time to time are not enough unless they are followed by practical steps on the ground to stop the aggression and end the siege,” he said.
