Israeli forces launch “raids and arrests” in West Bank

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinians early on Monday during sporadic raids in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian media reported.

According to the Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a  14-year-old Mutassim Mohammed Antory near the northern crossing of Qalqilya.

The Israeli also troops fired heavy gas canisters at the northern entrance to the town of Azzun, east of the city.

In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers raided the house of a freed prisoner and searched the town of Doha, west of the city.

Clashes reportedly broken out between youths and soldiers after they stormed Aida camp north of Bethlehem.

Israeli forces also arrested a young man from his home near the Shafei Mosque in Hebron, and raided a house on the city’s Beersheba Street.
