Islah militants hold hundreds of citizens in Hadramout
HADRAMOUT, Sept. 5 (YPA) – Militants affiliated to Islah Party on Thursday held hundreds of citizens were heading to Mukala city of Hadramout province to participate in a demonstration called by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, sources reported.
Forces from the so-called first military region loyal to the military leader of Islah Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar stopped 50 buses carrying citizens from al-Qatan area, were on their way to the city of Mukala, the sources explained.
This comes within the framework of the conflict between the transitional council’s militias and the exiled Hadi’s government and the Islah Party in Aden, Abyan Shabwa and Hadramout provinces.
