Russia warns of military conflict due to Zionist enemy operations

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Russia warned of the seriousness of the attacks launched by the Zionist entity in the countries of the region, saying that the escalation of tension after such attacks may lead to the outbreak of a military conflict and unpredictable consequences.

According to Russia Today site, Russian Foreign Ministry said, in a statement issued on Monday evening, that the new escalation of tension in the region is of great concern to Moscow.

The ministry added: The Russian side has repeatedly pointed to the seriousness of such actions in the tense regional atmosphere to the maximum degree, and warned of the possibility of leading to a large-scale military conflict and its unpredictable consequences.

Russia reiterated its call on all parties to show maximum restraint and strict adherence to international law, including relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
