Parliament congratulates Yemeni political leadership, people on National Day

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – The Parliament on Thursday congratulated President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the Yemeni people, the army and the popular committees on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.

The Parliament confirmed that the Yemeni unity is one of the constants and common denominators among all Yemenis and represented a historic achievement and a flash in the time of division witnessed by the nation.

It considered the reunification of Yemen on May 22, 1990, a great occasion to inspire lessons of sacrifice and struggle in the face of challenges, pointing to the importance of confronting all conspiracies and schemes aimed at undermining the security, stability, sovereignty and unity of the Republic of Yemen.
