Al-Mashat directs enhancing efforts to combat cholera epidemic

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday directed the health ministry enhancing efforts to put programs and planes to combat and reduce the spread of cholera epidemic and other diseases.

During his meeting with health minister Taha al-Mutawakil, the president was briefed by the minister on the ministry’s plans to combat the epidemics and improve the level of medical services in public, private centers and hospitals.

The officials discussed the difficult health conditions and a shortage of medicines facing the country as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition’s war and siege on Yemen.
