SANAA, April 6 (YPA) -The Israeli newspaper Hayom has published a report revealing a recent visit to Saudi Arabia by an Israeli journalist who attended a competition held in Riyadh.
The report recounts the details of the visit, starting with the decision by the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish journalist through the submission of the visa and access to Riyadh, and a visit to the “city of the future”, which is being established by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The journalist said that he toured most parts of the kingdom, hiding his religious hairdo under a Saudi dress.
In the details, the Israeli journalist said that the idea of the visit began when it coincided with the announcement of the issuance of entry visas to Saudi Arabia for all nationalities, as part of the support for the tourism sector, as well as the new “openness” of the kingdom.
Specifically, the journalist went to the Saudi kingdom in order to attend the Formula 1 race, which took place on the 15th of December in Drya area, northwest of Riyadh.
The Israeli journalist added that he had already been provided with the visa and received a ticket to attend the race only, noting that he had bought an Arab costume from the old City of occupied Jerusalem, in order to conceal his Jewish appearance.
He continued that through his visit he was able to gather enough intelligence, social and political information after he met both Bedouins and urban population in Saudi Arabia, and knew the finer details there about life of women and men, mosques and the royal family, and returned to sell this story to the newspaper.
The fact that an Israeli citizen was able to get a visa to Saudi Arabia is sure to strengthen rumors and reports that the Riyadh monarchy and the Zionist entity are preparing future cooperation.
