Yemeni forces kill over 250 invaders, liberate over 100 positions

DHALEA, March 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their success in carrying out a qualitative military operation in the southern front, which has led to the securing of more than 100 military positions and has killed and wounded more than 250 of the invading coalition’s militants, while dozens of others surrendered to Yemen’s troops.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said in a statement issued on Thursday, the army forces succeeded in carrying out its operations in the Dhalea front with great success over a period of 120 hours.

The statement said that the three tracks that were behind the success of its military operations in Al-Dali, have resulted in the securing of areas of more than 100 square kilometers in size and the seizing of large quantities of weapons, as well as the destruction or damaging of dozens of military and armoured vehicles.

The statement hailed citizens in Dhalea on their honourable positions, confirming that the army forces will continue to carry out their tasks and to secure all territory of the Republic of Yemen.

According to the statement, the offensive started with the fist track in Hadah Fort towards Jabal Nasser, where the entire area was secured and access to the mountain, which overlooks several areas in the provinces of Dhalea and Ibb, was achieved.

According to the statement, the second track was from the Saylah Al-Ma’arish towards Hid Kanah area. By this track, the Armed Forces succeeded in reaching the area mentioned after the collapse of enemy defensive lines. The third track took place from Haqab area in the southern part of Damt, going towards the Beit Al Yazidi and Strategic Nasser Mountain.
