Update: Army fires Zilizal-1 missile on gatherings of Saudi troops in Najran

NAJRAN, March 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on late Thursday fired Zilizal-1 missile on gatherings of Saudi troops and militants in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the missile targeted the coalition’s gatherings in Ajsher desert, killing and wounding dozens of them.

meanwhile, the artillery unit bombed the militants’ gathering in the eastern part of Jahfan site, causing direct casualties.

Earlier in the day, Yemeni army’s artillery force pounded gatherings of troops of Saudi army and the coalition in al-Sawah area in Najran and behind Raqabat al-Halq, inflecting many casualties on them.

The army forces also destroyed three military vehicles of the coalition carrying soldiers; two of them were targeted with explosive devices in al-Sudais site and al-Ajasher desert, while the third destroyed in al-Boqa desert.
