BEIRUT, July 26 (YPA) – Two people were killed, on Saturday, when an Israeli drone targeted the town of Debaal in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, in a new escalation on the southern front that indicates an expansion of the scope of airstrikes.
Lebanese media reported that the drone fired several missiles at a site in the town, killing two people immediately, amid a state of panic among the civilian population, while the identities of the victims are not yet officially known.
This attack comes amid escalating tensions on the Lebanese-occupied Palestinian border, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out airstrikes and drone strikes against targets in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese authorities and the Israeli occupation army have not yet issued an official statement about the details of the targeting or the nature of the target.
