ADEN, March 18 (YPA) -A number of protesters on Monday morning closed the al-Briqa bridge line in Aden, southern Yemen, local sources told Yemen press Agency.
According to the sources, protesters set fire to tires and put stones in the middle of the main line to prevent traffic from passing through.
The protests came after UAE-backed security forces released a number of young fishing workers who were arrested eight months ago, but not releasing one other young man who was also detained together with the released.
Young people believe that the young man has died in prison as a result of torture, one of the sources said.
The youth’s family and a number of residents have protested, demanding clarifications about the cause of death justice to be brought on the perpetrators.
