2 killed in explosion targeting central bank in Mocha

SANAA, Feb. 6 (YPA) –  Two central bank guards were killed and four civilians wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in front of the bank on Wednesday in Mocha city west of Taiz province

According to officials, one of the soldiers was killed immediately and the second died of his wounds in the hospital.

The explosion was the second in the city in less than two weeks, where an explosive device exploded at the end of last month at a popular cafe, killing six people and wounded 20.

Mocha has military bases used by the Saudi-led coalition to provide supplies and reinforcements to its forces stationed on the outskirts of the port of Hodeidah.
