Ansarallah Political Bureau condemns new Syrian regime’s steps to normalize with Israeli entity

SANAA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Ansarallah Political Bureau strongly condemned on Wednesday the direct meeting the ruling armed group in Syria held with the Zionist enemy in Paris.

The office said in a statement that the meeting with the enemy came at a time when the criminal Netanyahu announced escalatory steps to occupy Gaza, continue to storm and desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, leading to the announcement of the so-called “Greater Israel” project.

“At a time when Israeli hostile operations against Syria continue, the hands of the new rulers in Damascus are reaching out to openly normalize relations with the Zionist enemy,” the statement added.

It considered the public normalization of relations between Syria’s new rulers and the Israeli enemy a blatant betrayal of the sacrifices and rights of the Syrian people.

“It has been proven that the armed groups in Syria are merely tools operating according to external dictates that serve the Zionist project,” it added, reiterating condemnation of all steps towards normalization with the Zionist enemy.”

The statement stressed the need to stop rushing down paths of religious and moral treason at the expense of homelands, the rights of Arab peoples, and the sacrifices and blood of martyrs.
