SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Sudan is witnessing a large-scale protests in the capital of Khartoum, after calls launched by protest organizers to gather Sudanese professionals, with the participation of opposition alliances in the country.
According to the opposition allanices, the protests will be concentrated in 24 locations in the capital, paving the direction of “martyrs’ marches” to the local (provincial) headquarters in Khartoum.
A joint statement was issued on Tuesday by Sudanese professionals including doctors, engineers, teachers, university professors, the Sudan call coalition, the national consensus forces and the opposition federal rally.
“The convoy of martyrs on 29 January is moving towards the local headquarters at 15:00 local time,” the statement said.
