Army attacks coalition militias in Hajjah: Army spokesman

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Yemen’s army spokesman Brigadier Yahya Sarei said in a statement on Tuesday that the Yemeni army carried out an attack against sites of the Saudi-led coalition military in Hajjah province.

Sarei said that the attack killed and wounded dozens of the militias, as well as destroying seven military vehicles in Hairan area.

“The operation comes under accurate intelligence information enabling the army to penetrate the militias’ frontlines,” Sarei explained.
