Dozens of Saudi-backed militants killed, injured in Lahj, Jawf

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-backed gunmen on Monday were killed and injured during clashes with Yemeni army forces in Lahj and Jawf provinces, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army attacked coalition-allied gunmen’s positions in Jawaza area of Lahj, which left several dead and wounded in their ranks.

In Jawf, the army destroyed a military vehicle of the coalition’s militants in Safr Hanaya of Mouton district, killing its crew.

The army also repelled an infiltration of Saudi-backed militias in Ajasher area, killing and wounding dozens of them and destroying two military vehicles.
