Army liberates several sites in Bayda

BAYDA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday launched an offensive on sites of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Bayda province, central Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces were able to liberate several positions were controlled by takfirist elements in Qiafah district.

The battle, which lasted for several hours left dozens of the militants dead and wounded,  the official said.
