Bosnians demonstrate against Israeli starvation policy in Gaza

SARAJEVO, July 28 (YPA) – The Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, has witnessed a march to draw attention to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and Israel’s starvation policy against the Palestinians.

The participants gathered in Bascarsija Square and then headed to the Sarajevo Children’s Memorial, expressing their solidarity with Palestine.

The marchers carried a large Palestinian flag and held signs with slogans such as “Gaza is starving, and the world is just watching,” “Free Palestine,” “Stop killing innocent children,” and “The children of Gaza are starving.”

The participants began banging on cooking pots to symbolize hunger, the deteriorating humanitarian situation, and the genocide being committed in Gaza.

With the complete closure of crossings and the ban on the entry of food and medicine since March 2, famine has spread throughout the Strip, and symptoms of severe malnutrition have appeared among children and patients.
