MARIB, Dec. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Thursday made a significant progress in Serwah front in the west of Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army forces during a military operation seized several strategic sites and hills that have been under control of militias loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Serwah, according to field sources.
“The battles are still continuing in Serwah, the sources added.
Activists of Islah Party and supporters of the defense minister Mohammed al-Maqdashi in the exiled Hadi’s government exchanged accusations against the backdrop of the fall of a number of sites and hills in Serwah in hands of the army forces.
Activists loyal to al-Maqdashi said that what happened was a handover of the sites without resistance by Hadi’s forces affiliated to the Islah Party.
