SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – British Prime Minister Theresa May seeks to accelerate the exit from the European Union, without agreement, in light of strong opposition within parliament to the agreement, which reached with the countries of the Union.
May met on Tuesday with members of her cabinet to discuss Britain’s exit from the EU without a deal and to discuss the next phase.
The British prime minister defied the opposition Labor Party, which on Tuesday threatened to file a motion to withdraw confidence from the government after securing the support of her party deputies and the Irish Democratic Union Party.
British Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbin on Monday called for a no-confidence vote from the British prime minister for not allowing the parliament to vote immediately on her agreement on the country’s exit from the European Union.
