Israeli occupation army asks Lebanese in border villages to leave their homes

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army asked Lebanese living in houses near the border with occupied Palestine to leave temporarily until it had completed its destruction.

In a message on Twitter, Israeli occupation army spokesman warned residents of the towns of Kfar Kila and Rami, southern Lebanon, that their “lives are in danger,”

“Hezbollah has dug under houses in Kfar Kila and Ramah and a number of war tunnels stretching to Israel in a way transformed the area into a large barrel of gunpowder,” the message read.

“We do not know what the repercussions of these actions are on the houses on the Lebanese side,” the spokesman asked, “Do you feel safe and you know that your houses are above a barrel of gunpowder?”

“We advise you to seriously consider the possibility of temporarily leaving your homes for the sake of your own safety,” he said.

No reaction was immediately forthcoming from Lebanon.

On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army announced the launch of Operation North Shield to destroy “tunnels of a cross-border attack” between Lebanon and Israel.

On Thursday, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry tasked its delegate to the United Nations to file a complaint against Tel Aviv over what it said a “campaign against the country.”
