GAZA, Aug. 08 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement, as its military vehicles fired artillery shells and opened heavy machine-gun fire early Saturday in several areas across the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli military vehicles opened fire around the Al-Ta’lim area east of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, while the occupation army fired illumination flares over Al-Hatabiya Street in the town.
In Gaza City, the sources reported heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed around Al-Durra Hospital, east of the Tuffah neighborhood. Illumination flares were also fired over areas in eastern Gaza.
In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Salah al-Din Street, near the Wadi Gaza Bridge. The Israeli forces also fired heavily from military vehicles stationed around Qoz Abu Jreiban, east of the Abu al-Ajeen area, southeast of Deir al-Balah.
The sources further reported that the occupation army set fire to an area east of Al-Samna land, opposite Al-Da’wa Street, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
In southern Gaza, the occupation forces fired illumination flares north of Rafah and additional flares east of Khan Younis.
