Coalition-backed leader survives from assassination attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 29 (YPA) – A field commander in the 4th mountain infantry Brigade, loyal to the coalition, survived on Monday from an assassination attempt in the south of Taiz province.

Local sources reported that an explosive device planted by unidentified persons exploded near the house of the commander, Abdo Numan Zariqi, in Turban district, indicating that the explosion did not result in any injuries.

The assassination attempt came days after assassination attempet of 4th infantry Brigade  leader, Abu Bakr al-Jabuli,  in al-Bireen area.
