Yemeni army shells Saudi-backed militants in Jizan

JIZAN, Oct. 27 (YPA) – The artillery forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday shelled gatherings of Saudi-backed militants in the Saudi the Saudi southern border province of Jizan, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The artillery shells hit gatherings of the militants at sites at Ramdah and Hathirah areas and at MBC Mount,  causing direct casualties, the official said.

Earlier in the day, the artillery forces bombed the militants’ gatherings at Khoubah city, killing and injuring dozens of them, the official added.
