Journey organized for children with cancer to Amran Cement Factory

AMRAN, Oct. 17 (YPA) – Protection of Childhood Association in Amran province on Wednesday organized a journey for children with cancer and their families to the Amran Cement Factory as part of the Basma Amal Festival which organized in partnership with the factory.
During the journey, the children were informed of the facilities of the factory and the production processes, as well as the children received money from the factory to alleviate their suffering and meet their needs in the difficult conditions experienced by the country.
Mohammed Al Mohaibi, vice president of the Child Protection Society, said that the festival aims to raise public awareness about cancer, educate families, enhance the role of the community in supporting the injured children and create a supportive environment for them and their psychological, social and material wellbeing.
Al Mohaibi pointed out that the journey contributed to draw a smile on the faces of children and raise morale and remove them from their isolation.
For his part, Deputy General Manager of Amran Cement Factory, Mohammed Al-Sirimi, called on businessmen to provide support to cancer patients, especially children, as well as to help families of patients in the face of the disease and its high costs.
