SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The Turkish and Kuwaiti armies on Wednesday signed a joint defense cooperation plan for 2019 aimed at boosting military cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement issued by Kuwait News Agency, “The signing of this plan is a continuation of joint military coordination, with the aim of exchanging experiences and unifying efforts.”
The signing of the action plan came at the end of the fifth meeting of the Kuwaiti-Turkish Military Cooperation Committee, which was hosted by the Kuwait Operations and Plans Committee for two days, October 9 and 10.
According to the same statement, “the Kuwaiti side was the assistant to the Chief of General Staff of the Operations and Plans Directorate, Major General Mohammad Al-Kandari, and the Turkish side, head of the Foreign Affairs Department headed by Turkish Brigadier General Omut Yildiz.”
The statement added that Major General Mohammed Al-Kandari, Assistant to the Chief of General Staff of the operations and plans such as the Kuwaiti side, while the Turkish side represented the head of the Foreign Affairs Department, headed by Brigadier General Omut Yildiz.
