SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – A Saudi court has begun a hearing session of a lawsuit filed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office accusing a citizen of insulting Saudi rulers through drawing 100 cartoons and accusing him of contact with a hostile country and people.
According to the indictment in the case before the specialized criminal court, he accused of breaching the Kingdom’s policy in which he showed solidarity, and said that country did not deserve that boycott,
He also was accused of preparing some material affecting the public order in the kingdom for a sum of money.
The Saudi press did not disclose the name of the accused, nor did it explicitly state whether it was the “Qatar” besieged by the kingdom as well as the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt.
The SABQ Saudi newspaper “previously” indicated that he was handed over the list of proceedings to reply at the next Session
