Coalition fails to retrieve bodies of its militants in Jawf

JAWF, Sept. 19 (YPA)- Several of members of Saudi-led coalition forces’ engineering teams were killed on Wednesday as they tried to clear mines to recover bodies of dead and wounded in al-Khalifain area in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Earlier the day, the Yemeni army’s unit attacked an armored vehicle carrying Saudi-backed militants in the al-Khalifain area in Khab Washaf district, which resulted in several dead and wounded in their ranks.

The army also launched an attack on positions of the militants in al-Masloub district, killing a number of the militants, according to a military official.
