UAE occupation forces arrest Yemeni politician

ABYAN, Sept. 19 (YPA) – UAE occupation forces arrested a politician of the Islamic Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) loyal to Saudi Arabia in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, a Yemen Press Agency correspondent reported on Wednesday.

The politician Dhaman Thabit al-Kouh, deputy chief of the Muslim brotherhood local branch in Abyan, was arrested in Sarar Yafa district.

The arrest was the latest in a series of arrest campaign targeted leaders of the Saudi-backed party in the south by the United Arab Emirates forces.
