Israeli military vehicles advance east of Deir al-Balah amid heavy gunfire

GAZA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Several Israeli military vehicles advanced toward the Abu al-Ajeen area east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, on Thursday, amid heavy gunfire directed at Palestinian homes and tents.

Palestinian sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles moved from the Kissufim military site east of Deir al-Balah toward areas near Abu al-Ajeen.

The vehicles opened heavy, indiscriminate machine-gun fire toward residential neighborhoods and displacement camps.

Israeli occupation forces have repeatedly advanced into the area. Their gunfire toward displacement tents and residential homes has caused fear and panic among Palestinians, including those forcibly displaced from their homes.
