Southern protesters in Abyan demand departure of coalition

ABYAN, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Hundreds of demonstrators staged in the city of Zunjbar in Yemen’s southern province on Monday a protest against the deteriorating living conditions the country is living due to the corrupt policies of Hadi government.

The protesters chanted slogans calling for the departure of the Saudi-led coalition forces from Yemen, and carried photos of the southern movement leader, Huessein Baoum, according to Yemen Press Agency reporter in the province.

The demonstrators confirmed their intention to escalate their call for the departure of the coalition, as it is the primary responsible for the worsening economic crisis and the deterioration of the living and security conditions experienced by the occupied southern provinces.
