Angry protests in Lahj calls for overthrowing Hadi’s gov’t

LAHJ, Sep. 5 (YPA) – Protesters staged on Wednesday an angry popular rally in Yemen’s southern province of Lahj demanding the overthrow of the exiled Hadi’s government.

The protesters cut off the main road linking between Lahj and Aden provinces and burned tires in protest against the economic deterioration in the country, according to Yemen Press Agency reporter.

The demonstrators called for stopping the decline of Yemeni riyal exchange rate against foreign currencies as a result of printing nearly $ 800 billion without any cash cover.
