SANAA, Sept. 5 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday closed the Erez crossing for people in the northern Gaza Strip, a day after protests erupted near it.
The occupation army said that the Erez crossing would remain closed until damages caused by the confrontations with the Palestinians are repaired.
The Israeli army did not give any further explanations as to the time it would require, and that only humanitarian cases would be allowed to cross.
Erez crossing or Beit Hanoun is the only crossing point for the movement of people between the besieged Gaza strip and the Israeli occupation zones.
