WEST BANK, Aug. 03 (YPA) – Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir led a provocative march of Israeli colonists through the Old City of occupied Jerusalem late Saturday into early Sunday, accompanied by extremist Knesset member Amit Halevi from the Likud party.
According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), approximately 1,251 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque so far, performing Talmudic rituals, dances, and loud chanting that echoed throughout the mosque.
It is worth noting that the extremist Ben-Gvir also led another provocative march with settlers through the Old City of occupied Jerusalem after midnight, marking the so-called “Temple Destruction Anniversary.”
