American action group will fail certainly to overthrow Iranian state: Iranian FM

SANAA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif tweeted on his account on twitter on Sunday that a new Iran “Action Group ” that is formed by the U.S. State Department targets to overthrow the Islamic Republic in Iran, but that would fail.

Zarif spoke on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of a U.S.-backed coup that overthrew the prime minister of Iran, who arrived through democratic elections.

Zarif affirmed that Tehran will not let history repeat itself speaking in the context of Trumps sanctions imposed on Teheran compared with the coup that overthrew Mossadegh in 1953.

He said that The “Action Group” dreams after 65 years of the coup against Mossadgh elected democratically, that restored the dictatorship and tyrany against Iranians for the next 25 years, adding “that is impossible to be repeated.”
