Sanaa-based armed forces deny Saudi claims of attack on Madinah

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces on Thursday denied carrying out any attack targeting Saudi territory, saying claims and propaganda by Saudi authorities that Madinah had been targeted were unfounded.

In a brief statement, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie, spokesperson for the armed forces, said: “The armed forces confirm that they did not carry out any operation toward Saudi territory today.”

Brig. Gen. Sarie described the Saudi allegations of an attack directed at Madinah as a grave and blatant falsehood, rejecting the propaganda circulating in this regard.

The statement came as the Yemeni armed forces clarified their position on Saudi authorities’ announcement alleging that Madinah had been targeted.
