Dramatic footage shows Saudi Typhoon fighter jet being hit by surface-to-air missile

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – The spokesperson for the Sanaa forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Thursday that a Royal Saudi Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon was targeted using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile while flying over Saada Governorate.

According to a statement issued by Saree, the aircraft sustained a direct hit.

Al-Masirah TV broadcast footage documenting the targeting operation. Saree stated that the warfighter had taken off from Taif Air Base prior to the incident.
