RIYADH, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Saudi firefighting teams are continuing intensive efforts to control a massive blaze that broke out at an Aramco facility in the capital, Riyadh, following an attack involving ballistic missiles and drones, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
According to sources, flames continue to spread within the Aramco refinery. Satellite data detected a sharp and unprecedented surge in thermal intensity emanating from the site, recording approximately 205 megawatts at 7:10 PM, compared to thermal levels ranging between 8 and 74 megawatts in the preceding hour. The thermal spike highlights the severe damage to the facility as the fire remains uncontained.
