Sanaa armed forces carry out two fresh operations targeting Aramco facilities in Riyadh, Khurais
SANAA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces declared on Sunday that they had carried out two major military operations targeting Saudi oil giant Aramco in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and in the Khurais area.
In a statement, the spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie said the two operations were carried out with a number of ballistic missiles and drones. The first targeted Aramco facilities in Riyadh, while the second targeted Aramco in the Khurais area.
He confirmed that both operations successfully achieved their objectives, with the strikes hitting their targets accurately and triggering large fires at the targeted sites.
The spokesman added that the operations came in response to Saudi aggression against Yemen, which continued with further airstrikes totaling 50 airstrikes and missile attacks over the previous 12 hours against Sanaa and the provinces of Jawf, Taiz, Amran, Hajjah and Saada. This brings the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks on Yemen since the start of the escalation to 1,460, it clarified.
Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie reiterated that the armed forces would continue striking Saudi military bases and oil facilities with Yemeni-made missiles and drones, which had demonstrated their ability to accurately hit targets and penetrate Western interception and defense systems.
He added that the armed forces would continue carrying out further operations against Saudi targets and military buildups, maintaining the equation of blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation until the aggression is halted and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
