Palestinians injured in ongoing Israeli occupation airstrikes, artillery shelling across Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Several Palestinian citizens were injured early Sunday morning due to an Israeli drone strike near the Engineers Syndicate headquarters northwest of Gaza City, amid continuous airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.

In eastern Gaza City, Israeli occupation military helicopters opened fire while ground forces executed controlled demolition operations. The Israeli occupation forces also dropped illumination flares east of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Israeli occupation artillery units struck areas east of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on eastern sections of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis.

Additionally, Israeli occupation military vehicles fired toward displaced persons’ tents in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. Israeli broad demolition operations and sustained bombardment were reported in various other sectors of the enclave.
