10 Killed in 24 hours as Gaza ceasefire violation toll rises to 1,283

GAZA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that 10 people were killed over the past 24 hours amid ongoing Israeli occupation military operations in the Gaza Strip.

According to the ministry’s daily casualty report, hospitals across the Strip received 10 bodies and 25 wounded individuals within the last 24-hour reporting period.

The ministry stated that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as emergency medical teams and civil defense personnel are currently unable to reach them.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 11, the total toll from reported Israeli violations has reached 1,283 dead and 4,248 injured, with 813 bodies recovered from the debris.

The cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, stands at 73,417 deaths and 174,360 injuries.
